From the first week of June, Air France is restarting services between Paris and Budapest. Initially once a week, increasing to a daily schedule, flights will go ahead under strict measures of hygiene and security. Currently, any traveller may leave Hungary, although only Hungarians and EU/EEA citizens with permanent residency here may enter the country. Passengers arriving in France and overseas territories are required to present forms required by the French Ministry of Interior. Air France is also allowing customers to rebook any flight of the same price with no change fee.

Air France is resuming its flights between Paris and Budapest. Where possible, social distancing will be ensured on board by leaving seats free between passengers. Masks must be worn and, before take-off in Paris, all passengers must undergo a mandatory, non-contact temperature check.

Increased on-board cleaning includes disinfecting all smooth surfaces, armrests, trays and washbasins. Pillows won’t be used on these short-haul flights. The air in the passenger compartments is refreshed and cleaned with special filters every three minutes.

Passengers arriving in France and its overseas territories are required by the local authorities to present certain documentation – scroll down this page for details in English.

Tickets purchased after 22 April 2020 can be re-booked free of charge for another date, within the same fee category.
