Looking up from the roundabout on Clark Ádám tér, a winding set of steps snake around the eastern slopes of Castle Hill, with greenery on each side and public benches dotted around.
Now, as part of an overall renovation programme that first addressed the northern part part of the promenade around the Tunnel, attention is being turned to this most prominent area of the hillside.
Starting soon, the slope behind the Funicular will also be tidied up, pathways repaved and new, uniform public furnishings, benches and rubbish bins, will be installed. Dilapidated greenery will also be replaced.
