Budapest100, when houses and courtyards around the city are opened up for the public to admire, has gone virtual. Due to stage its tenth annual open-doors tours over the last weekend in May, the team at Budapest100 has put together a special video showing some of the city’s most intriguing doorways, inside and out. ‘Let’s Meet on the Tenth!’ also looks forward to the autumn, when Budapest100 reschedules its guided visits around the capital’s hidden architectural gems.
This month, May 2020, is the tenth anniversary of Budapest100. To mark their birthday when public gatherings can’t happen, organisers, volunteers and residents have combined to create this special video – with everyone singing the Hungarian version of Happy Birthday at the end. See you in the autumn!
