Altogether there are 12 categories for the Office of the Year competition, with a special new one added this year: the best Family-Friendly Office. This designation is beneficial to helping new mothers reintegrate back into the workforce. Magyar Telekom and the T-Systems headquarters were the recipients in this field, as well as winning the Corporate Headquarters Award.
Another notable winner was the ALL YOU CAN MOVE office, located in the old Pest Hungarian First Savings Bank building, designed by Habsburg-era architect Miklós Ybl and arguably one of the most beautiful buildings in the city centre.
The Office of the Year Design Award went to the Positive Adamszky advertising agency, who remodelled the building which once housed the embassies of Vietnam and Sudan. Several other winners are dotted along Váci út, where former factories and warehouses have been transformed, and more modern complexes boast high green ratings.
