“During these hard times,” say the video’s creators, “we decided to make this video to ask all people over the world to stay in their homes so this situation changes into a positive end as soon as possible”. In the video, each featured city is captured from the beginning of dusk, when the night-time lights transform each metropolis into a glittering, shimmering landscape.
It is a mesmerising compilation of urban beauty which everyone can enjoy from the safety and comfort of their homes.
The same group created a Budapest in 4K video in 2015, which features such landmarks as the Chain Bridge, Fishermen’s Bastion, Parliament and Heroes' Square.
