Márton Kristály combines his two passions into one new video: his enthusiasm and calling for Budapest, and the big bubbles of water he likes to blow in all shapes and sizes. Huge water globes have been filmed around the main attractions of the Hungarian capital, reflecting and capturing its magic. Take a look for yourself!

A man who has been involved in illusionist comedy and his own Waterball show for the last ten years, Márton Kristály has now created his own urban mini-movie, with landmarks such as the Funicular, Buda Castle and the Danube bridges as props. Sometimes the bubble globes are shaped by his own fair hand, other times he makes smoke clouds and fashions them into tunnels several metres long. Budapest in the morning light was never seen better than through a transparent bubble brought to life by his flame.

Talking about his new film, Vízgömbökkel ébredő Budapest (Budapest Awakening to Water Bubbles) Márton explains: “Those who know me know that I am fond of Budapest, one of Europe's, if not the world’s, most beautiful capitals. I have long had the idea of making a video that I could present to the public, not only showing my beloved profession, but a new aspect of everyday life. I hope not only the locals will enjoy seeing their city in this video, but also people abroad.”

Also look out this weekend for an annual bubble-blowing event on Margaret Island, led byGergő Halász, attracting families far and wide. The event starts at 4:30pm on Saturday, September 2nd and runs for 30 minutes.
