All aboard for Rómaifürdő! The regular Danube service to Óbuda run by Budapest transport company BKK is in operation for the summer season. Line D12 sets off from Kopaszi-gát to sail via Gellért tér, Parliament and Margaret Island, all the way up to Óbuda Island and Rómaifürdő. Journey time from end to end is nearly two hours. Weekdays, boats go hourly. At weekends, they head through town every half-hour, terminating at Batthyány tér, where passengers change for the hourly Óbuda service. Regular BKK tickets are not valid – pay a flat 750 forints on board, 550 forints for children.
