The discerning readership of the prestigious travel magazine aslo awarded gold to this deluxe downtown hotel in 2016. Steps away from St.Stephen’s Basilica, the Aria is a member of the Library Hotel Collection group. Of this year’s top 20 selected by Condé Nast readers, nine are found in Budapest, putting the Hungarian capital ahead of Vienna and Prague.

According to global travelers who participated in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards, Hotel Bristol Vienna is the best place to stay in the region.
The Aria was not the only Budapest hotel singled out for praise among Condé Nast readers. Nearly half of the 20-strong list are located in the Hungarian capital, the other high-end establishments including the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, The Ritz-Carlton Budapest, Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace, Boscolo Budapest, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge, Corinthia Hotel Budapest, InterContinental Budapest and Kempinski Hotel Corvinus.
As well as being featured as part of the Condé Nast Traveler Annual Readers’ Choice, the Aria Hotel Budapest won first prize in TripAdvisor’s 2017 Travelers’ Choice Awards as the world’s best hotel. In addition, this design-focused destination was designated as the sixth top city hotel in Europe by New York-based magazine Travel + Leisure earlier this year.
