For whatever reason (public shaming seeming most likely), Budapest’s BKK public-transportation authorities share many pictures of car crashes involving their trams, buses, and trains on their official Facebook page – and while most of these photos are just sad reminders of why it’s important to drive safely, several of them are quite astounding, leaving the viewer to guess how these cars ended up in unlikely positions across railroad tracks or wedged in traffic, causing countless commuters to be delayed while the accidents are cleaned up.
With sincere hopes that nobody involved in these crashes suffered any injuries (we specifically left out any photos featuring ambulances), we picked a few of the most surprising accident photos shared on the official BKK Facebook page.
