In a new mini movie produced by CNN, talented outdoor swimmer Vivienne Rickman-Poole swims through a variety of Hungary’s waters, presenting Budapest’s renowned thermal-bath culture, the country’s lovely Lake Balaton, the intriguing Tapolca Lake-Cave, as well as the Danube as it divides the capital’s two divergent sides. Furthermore, between plunges in pools she enjoys a visit to Budapest’s majestic New York Café, the panorama from atop the Buda Hills, and drinks with friends on a central rooftop terrace.

To produce “Land ofWaters”, the team of CNN Create explored the lovely lakes and rivers of Hungary before visiting Budapest, where they captured the centuries-old thermal-bath culture, the Danube embraced by the Liberty Bridge and the Chain Bridge, and the picturesque panorama from Fishermen’s Bastion. In addition, the video portrays stunning scenery of waters across the Hungarian countryside, including Lake Balaton and the unique Tapolca Lake-Cave. This short video presents these watery wonders from the perspective of an outdoor swimmer, Vivienne Rickman-Poole, who expresses that she sees Hungary as a country that is full of water, where she feels very welcome.
