Following a fresh announcement by Budapest’s BKK public-transport company, a direct bus service will be added to the city’s transit network on July 8th to take travelers between the airport and central Deák Square, with a one-way ticket costing 900 forints per person. Currently, passengers who want to reach downtown Budapest from the Ferenc Liszt International Airport have to embark on a lengthy ride aboard bus line 200E to the Kőbánya-Kispest terminus of the M3 metro, from where the dilapidated blue underground line takes travelers to the city’s central areas.
