Many of the city’s key sights are presented in the artist’s recently produced illustrations that capture the Magyar metropolis based on its geography, showing landmarks in each neighborhood like the Royal Palace, the Hungarian National Museum, the Gellért Hotel, or the city’s beautiful railway stations. “I created distinct posters depicting 14 of Budapest’s districts that portray key buildings, objects, and tiny details that I find engaging,” states the illustrator on her website, where many of her recent and previous artworks are uploaded. Looking at the posters we see that they boast different shapes – this is because Alíz made her geographic illustrations resemble the layout of each district that she portrayed. We hope to see the artist continue her quest of creatively demonstrating Budapest’s beautiful scenes.
