For the first time since the band’s 1997 performance at Budapest’s Sziget Festival, the globally revered rockers of the Foo Fighters return to Hungary to throw a great summer gig on June 26th at the city’s Papp László Budapest Sportaréna as part of their 2017 world tour, the band announced on Monday on their official Facebook page. Founded by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994, the extravagant ensemble has an outstanding oeuvre with a total of eight albums released during their history, which have earned the band multiple gold and platinum records, along with 11 Grammy Awards.
Tickets to the Budapest concert are available for the public to purchase beginning on Friday,
March 3rd on the Livenation and Ticketpro websites – but fans who sign up at //bit.ly/2lLxOBs receive a pre-sale code that enables them to secure concert passes from as early as March 1st.
