During this year’s Sziget Festival, We Love Budapest was in charge of the island’s popular Love Chapel, serving as an unofficial wedding site throughout the weeklong extravaganza to encourage partying couples to “tie the knot” right there at the festival. We took photos of all newlyweds, shared them on our Facebook page, and encouraged the couples to send us their love stories – and at the end of the festival, we randomly selected a lucky pair of lovebirds who won an exclusive Budapest “honeymoon”. Here is how the winning couple spent two truly romantic days in the Magyar metropolis.

The winning “newlyweds” enjoyed a night at Budapest’s grand Four Seasons Hotel - Gresham Palace, embarked on a boat tour on the Danube aboard Dunarama’s luxurious water taxi, devoured a mouthwatering cake from Cake Shop, and afterwards had some splashy fun at Budapest’s BeerSpa. The winning couple, Pálma Spák and Péter Farkas, sent us a kind thank-you letter for their heartwarming honeymoon.
