11am - 6pm: Rejt/Jel/Képek at Hungarian National Museum The Hungarian National Museum commemorates the 60th anniversary of Hungary's 1956 Revolution against Soviet rule. The museum presents four new artworks to the media at 11am on August 11th to expand the collection of the current temporary display inside the exhibition hall "Rejt/Jel/Képek ’56 – A forradalom titkos művészete (The secret art of the revolution)". The aim of the exhibition is to reveal rarely seen pieces that the artists or their relatives had to hide for decades. The display is on view until Novermber 13th.
8.30pm - 11.30pm: Budavári Palotakoncert 2016 at Buda Castle Star performers of the Hungarian State Opera provide an unforgettable night at the Budavári Palotakoncert, a renowned operetta gala, organized at the Buda Castle on August 5-6. The musical repertoire includes The Csárdás Princess, The Merry Widow, Mickey Magnet, and much more.
9pm - 12.00am: Deafkids, Antal at DRRPNCAn intensive and brutal mosh you do not come across so often in here. This young band was formed as a one-man project and transformed into a regular band after a couple of years. The shows of Deafkids are widely known for their intensity, density, and violence, with lots of guitar reverb and a harsh ambience.

11pm - 5am: Corvin Shine Presents Phonique at Corvin Club After moving to Berlin in the mid '90s, Michael Vater aka Phonique was on the go like few others in Berlin. His successful parties and club nights got much love and paved him the way to become one of the nice guys in Berlin’s nightlife. First he only organized parties, and after a while he started to DJ himself: DJ Phonqiue was born - and he soon became one of the leading forces behind deep and forward-thinking club music. 9.30am - 5pm: 1. Sup Budapest at Holiday Beach Budapest Sup Budapest is organized this summer for the first, but definitely not the last time. Participants can sup surf all the way to Kopaszi Dam on the Danube, passing by the Parliament, the Gellért Hill, and the Buda Castle.
SUP (Stand Up Paddle) is a sport that can be done by anyone at any age – so bring your friend, family, and other relatives, too.
12pm - 10.00pm: DC Weekend at Corvin Cinema An unforgettable cosplay program series awaits playful guests in August with stands set up by the Holdfény Fantasy Toy Shop, Gamer Tech, and Maszka Costume Rental Shop, where visitors can enjoy various activities, including face painting or comic drawing. Throughout the program, the cinema presents cosplay performers and screens the freshly released movie Suicide Squad.
6pm - 6am:
LavaLava Half-day Session - Aril Brikha at Corvin ClubLavaLava throws a half-day-long electronic gathering, starting from 6pm on the rooftop terrace of Corvin Club, while from 11pm, the party invades the rest of the place. Besides the local electronic beasts, two Berliners and Aril Brikha will stand behind the decks – the latter is already considered a phenomenon in the electronic music scene with his eclectic sets, his hits like Groove La Chord, and non-compromising attitude.
6pm - : Ivan & The Parazol, Middlemist Red at Budapest Park A Sziget Festival pre-party with two of the most unique Hungarian rock 'n' roll bands? Count us in! Middlemist Red plays fuzzed-out psychedelic rock that manages to sound vintage and modern at the same time: think of acts like Temples or The Black Angels and you'll get it. Ivan & The Parazol had surely dived into their fathers' vinyl collection before they started writing their own songs: and what they came up with is good old-fashioned rock music, like Jack White or The Rolling Stones.

11am - 7pm: WAMP - Natural Design at Erzsébet Square WAMP is a community event and a design fair, organized on a regular basis in the hub of Budapest and during these events, up-and-coming Hungarian designers showcase their works. This is the very place, where design meets urban dwellers, tourists and expats, while WAMP is also a meeting spot for creative and trendsetting young talents. The focus of this Sunday's WAMP will be on slow fashion and ecological awareness.
4pm - 10pm: DJ Palotai Presents Sunday Sessions at A38 Ship What happens when one of the most famous Hungarian DJs stands behind the decks for a whole afternoon? DJ Palotai, who is known for his eclectic sets, will spin his favorites from all genres and eras for hours, and believe us, everything can blast from the speakers from bass music to hip-hop or jazz. Grab a cocktail, get in the mood, and relax.
8.30pm - 11pm: Cinébar - Miles Ahead at PONTOONDon Cheadle blows his horn as writer, director, producer and star of the free-form Miles Davis portrait Miles Ahead that is inspired by events in his life. The movie is a wildly entertaining, impressionistic, no-holds barred portrait of one of 20th century music’s creative geniuses, featuring Miles Davis's life and career.
