7pm:
Read the line with a sarcastic undertone at Ateliers Pro Art CenterVelvet, spotlights, audience. The perfume of the woman sitting in front of you, and the instructions form the director fill the air.
Zsófia Keresztes places the active players of the game into an installation, while Rita Süveges captures the absurdity of the audience’s observer role in her pictures. The places on the paintings aren’t backgrounds for real actions; they show a static, circular motion. However, Keresztes sends her main characters into a destructive fight. The outcome of the tragedy is uncertain. The curtain falls with a deep disgust.
7pm: Smoke at Taste Loffice There’s a several-hour-long video – the documentation of decades – that shows people doing physical work. Far from the industrial zone, with handmade tools, alone or in a company of few, they move back and forth between one or two movement phases. On the pictures, long-stemmed plants are being chopped up, and fishing nets are being knotted – the whole thing is like a dance; a natural course of things without thoughts. By the end of the film you will feel an unbeatable urge to take something in your hands and work with it.
10pm: Felix Jaehn at Hellobabybar The internationally acclaimed young talent, Felix Jaehn, comes all the way from Hamburg to spin discs at Hello Baby on February 5th. The now 21-year-old Felix showed his talent early on as he secured a place in the Ministry of Sound and at the Pacha Club when he was just 18. Millions listen to his hit songs like “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)”, “Book of Love”, “Eagle Eyes”, and his remix of “Cheerleader” from OMI.
He won’t leave his best records behind this night as he invites us all to a melodic, vocal, tech-, deep-, and chill-house musical array, filled with emotions.
11pm: Casino Bangkok Presents Truss at Corvin ClubTom Russell (aka Truss) heralds from a small Welsh village on the outskirts of Cardiff, yet he brings some of the darker and harder elements of techno to many of the UK’s urban concrete haunts such as Corsica Studios. Having released several tracks on London techno label Perc Trax, Miniscule, and Dumb-Unit Synewave among others, his sound comprises stripped-back minimal techno that is hard and driving. Stocking records from UK-based techno producers Surgeon, Perc, Shifted, and Sigha in his crate, Truss is clearly part of the scene here that pushes a sound that is loud, visceral, and exactingly scientific.Saturday

11pm: Red Axes at LÄRM Red Axes is the work of Tel Aviv producers Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, who have been performing together for a long time, first as post-punk band Red Cotton; Red Axes is the duo’s current incarnation. Deep, playful, and faintly psychedelic, their productions for the likes of I’m Hivern Discs have been well received in the years since. “Ballad of the Ice”, the duo’s debut album last year, combined elements of acid rock and left-of-center house, incorporating live instruments into their production repertoire. Arzi and Sadovnik have turned label heads recently too, with their Garzen Records due to launch in October. The label’s debut release, “Ahuzat Bait”, stands as a testament to the duo’s ongoing love affair with Tel Aviv.
11.30pm: Midnight Music – Classical Music For Night Owls at Millenaris Teatrum Some prefer listening to music by night, and, fortunately, there are also some who like to play music at night. It has become a tradition that the highlights of certain concerts are presented again for young audiences as late as half past 11 in the evening – after the regular concert hall performance. Midnight Music is for the open-minded who enjoy the arts and exquisite experiences, and, of course, who also like staying up late. These are no ordinary concerts. They begin very late, tickets are assigned to large beanbags, not seats, there is no dress code whatsoever, and, as well as a top-quality musical performance, the audience gets short, professional, and entertaining introductions to the pieces, facilitating a better understanding of the music. Those arriving by bicycle receive a 30% discount.Sunday
