The Sziget Festival will be held for the 23rd time this year, turning Óbuda
Island into a wonderland of nonstop partying throughout the week of August 10-17. There will be plenty of changes from last year’s extravaganza, including new event venues, some reshuffling of old venues, and an increased number of services. The A38 Stage will become larger and placed at a different location, and the concert space in front of the Main Stage will become larger, as well. All of these new developments and many more will soon be apparent to every festivalgoer, but for now, we can gaze with anticipation at the pixilated chart and let the good times start to amplify in our minds.
Perhaps the most fun aspect of checking out the Sziget Festival map – available by clicking here – is to imagine all of the places we’ll be wandering around the grounds with no real aim, letting the good times and happy vibes lead us to meet new people, drink too much, dance even more, laugh too loud, get dusty, get sweaty, get dirty, and love every moment of it all... ahh, we can’t wait!
