If you like to get technological with your phone at the dinner table, you are going to like Cybergastro. That''s because Kaja.hu''s new restaurant in Nagymező Street, you can order your food and pay electronically. Built-in computers in the tables, clean design, quality food and ecofriendly concept are the key words that describe this place the most accurately. Thanks for the super-modern order system, you can order your meal with just a few clicks, without any human interaction involved. You''re welcome, introverts!

Also, welcome, those of you who just hate waiting in endless lines, since this type of ordering makes everything about 30% faster. By the time we put our bottoms on a chair, the menu is already in front of us, and the built-in monitor and mouse means that we can order our food in that very instant. It all takes just a few clicks, and we don't have to wait much for the dishes either.

There are some actual waiters, of course. Unfortunately, human technology is not developed enough yet so that the chefs can give us our supplements through a wormhole. Yet. But anyway, you won't find any other restaurant with these kind of functions either.

The system works in the following way: guests are welcomed at the entrance and get asked whether they visited the place before - if the answer is no, they get some instructions regarding the not-so-ordinary ordering procedure. Every guest gets a card, they get escorted to a table, and voilà, they can start using the system with their code right away. Additionally, we can pay our cheque beforehand, or can specify whether we want to pay for our or the whole table's meal. Payment can be fulfilled by money, bank card, or even by food tickets.

If (God forbid) we have a problem, all we have to do is clicking the "Help" button to summon a waiter to solve them, or we can just write whatever we're unhappy with in the Comment section. These comments get forwarded to the counter and the kitchen as well.

Whoever is not comfortable with all the technology stuff can request a printed menu and order through the waiters.

Cybergastro isn't just a hi-tech installation, of course. The food is pretty good as well, and comes at an affordable price. Grey cattle hamburgers, salads, soups and desserts fall into an average price range (1200-2000 Ft), but the daily menu is even cheaper (ca. 1000 Ft). Bigger groups won't get disappointed, either. There's plenty of space, great tables and even a VIP room for some extra privacy.

The restaurant's future plans include expanding and further development - that's about all they've told us, details are secret for now. Let's hope they're planning to install some games into the tables.
