6:30pm - 10:30pm: The Black Dahlia Murder concert at A38Anchored near the Petőfi Bridge on the Buda side of town, the A38 ship is one of the city’s most fascinating concert locales, with several musical shows happening aboard almost every night of the week. American melodic death metal band the Black Dahlia Murder returns to the deck to give a kicking club gig aboard this repurposed cargo boat.
7pm-midnight: Óbuda Blues Fest at Kobuci KertEvery July, Óbuda’s concealed Kobuci Kert hosts some of Europe’s best blues musicians to present the roots and recent variations of the genre. Celebrating the event’s 5th anniversary this year, the festival aims to celebrate blues not only as a traditional musical genre, but also as a contemporary art form. In addition to the melodic concerts, the event is complete with guitar and accordion workshops and movie screenings.
