Shaping up the program for Budapest’s weeklong music extravaganza, on Wednesday the Sziget Festival organizers released an updated list of international bands that will hit the stage at the city’s biggest blowout this summer. Happening this year during August 9-16 on sprawling Óbuda Island, the multi-stage jamboree will rock Budapest’s summer nights with spectacular concert shows of diverse genres and world-famous musicians, including electronic ensembles, punk-rock bands, rap stars, and much more – here we are sharing the entire freshly released list of performers.

Revelers have already been counting down the days until Budapest’s greatest annual good-time gathering kicks off this August to enhance the city’s summer days and nights with colorfully varied sounds and psychedelic scenes, while this newly released list of performers suggests that the next “Island of Freedom” will have another diverse set of musical acts. The lineup announced by Sziget so far includes globally revered performers like Major Lazer, Kasabian, PJ Harvey, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Rudimental, George Ezra, Steve Aoki, Interpol, Clean Bandit, and White Lies, all taking the stage among many other crowd-pulling acts.

Tickets to the multi-day extravaganza – which recently earned first prize in the "Artists’ Favorite Festival" category at the 2016 European Festival Awards – are available for purchase on the official Sziget website, with passes for 5 days and 7 days currently offered at discounted rates through May 31st.
