We changed our clocks, the Easter feasting is over, and soon our winter coats will find peace once again deep in the wardrobe. Nature is slowly awakening, and wherever sunbeams hit Hungary’s capital, flowers are already blossoming. Gellért Hill is one of these sunny sites providing picture-perfect views of life in bloom. Although the official Sakura celebration of blooming cherry trees has yet to arrive, before we visit the ELTE Botanical Garden or Margaret Island’s Japanese Garden, We Love Budapest staff photographer Norbert Juhász climbed Gellért Hill to capture the colors of spring.
