It's always a hard question: which bands not to miss during the Festival... There are always some names you haven't heard but that sound promising and some musicians you know and want to check out again. We Love Budapest's new monthly series is here to help with short introductions of the hottest and most interesting bands that will play at this year's Sziget Festival. So let's take a look...

If J Dilla changed your life, or you simply can't imagine a day when you don't listen to some fresh clap beats, Sziget has two big names for you: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and OutKast!OutKast has just re-entered the rap game with a memorable reunion gig at Coachella. The duo - Big Boi (Antwan Patton) and André 3000 (André Benjamin) - went on hiatus in 2007 following the release of their album and film Idlewild. Before that, they'd continuously pushed the boundaries of the hip-hop genre, writing charming funk-soul-rap jams like '

Hey Ya!', '

Ms. Jackson' or '

ATLiens'. Their fourth studio album, Stankonia (2000) was one of the most innovative hip-hop albums, and despite a few years working separately they're still explosive on stage. It shouldn't be a surprise, considering both had a solo career after Idlewild. Antwan released two albums under his Big Boi alias and André worked with rappers like

Frank Ocean

and

Rick Ross,

and superstars like

Beyoncé

.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are one of the most celebrated and shiniest stars in the hip-hop galaxy of the United States. Their charismatic music has millions of fans and this year their work has been recognized with four Grammies for ‘Best New Artist’, ‘Best Rap Performance’, ‘Best Rap Album’ and their song '

Thrift Shop'

received the award for ‘Best Rap Song’. If you are a fan of rappers like Mac Miller or B.o.B - or you just prefer honesty over weed and gold chains when it comes to hip-hop lyrics, this will be your show!

The Libertines will also reunite for a show...at Hyde Park. But don't worry, we have Palma Violets, which is nearly the same - hymns of a wasted youth, swirling psych-garage classics, raw charm and that special kind of bromance between the two front-men Alexander Jesson and Sam Fryer. Not a surprise that NME selected their single, 'Best Of Friends' as the 'Best Track Of 2012': it has everything that a fan of The Strokes or Peter Doherty can ask for. Remember: you only live once, so be don't miss them!Darkside is the duo of the blues guitarist Dave Harrington and electronic producer/label owner (Other People) Nicolas Jaar.

Darkside is very good at floating deep house, soulful pop and psychedelic IDM-fueled brain melters and much more. Critics loved their first album, Psychic.

Vampire Weekend on LSD? Talking Heads meet Happy Mondays? Another starry-eyed Australian dance-rock group? Yes!

Jagwar Ma came together in Sydney when Jono Ma and Gabriel Winterfield bonded over a mutual passion for melody and experimental beats. The pair set out to create a sound that would capture their love for contemporary electronica, classic American pop harmony, Joe Meek & King Tubby, vintage drum machines, radio frequency manipulation, improvised percussion and other esoteric methods of creating sound. Meeting up to help finish each others songs sometimes the pair would record just for the hell of it. On one occasion the two were purported to have stayed up recording the sound of hair swishing across a microphone. Fusing the elements of disparate musics like the vocal sweetness of Laurel Canyon, Carl Wilson and Bruce Johnston and the modern electronic creations of the past 40 years they've created the ultimate sun-soaked beach pop album, Howlin.Extraordinary talent British singer-songwriterJake Bugg will also perform at the ‘Island of Freedom’ with his direct, honest and unique folk rock sounds. Bugg grew up in Nottingham's Clifton council estate, the son of a male nurse and a mother in sales, both of his parents dabbled in music. He was mad about football as a kid, before transferring his passion to music when he got a guitar at the age of 12. The first song that turned his head was Don McLean's

Vincent, a 1971 hit that Bugg heard on an episode of The Simpsons. In high school he listened to The Beatles, Johnny Cash and The Everly Brothers, which mystified some of his classmates. What kind of music does a fresh-faced talent play with these artists as inspiration?

Roots-rock of course! Jake Bugg adds a twist with Dylan-like folk mixed with pop sensibilities.

"I need a saga, what's the saga?/It's songs for the deaf, you can't even hear it!" Well, that won't be a problem at the second coming of Queens Of The Stone Age. Led by Josh Homme, ex-member of the legendary stoner-rock band Kyuss these robot-rockers will surely make you headbang! Pitchfork once described their music as "punch-drunk boogie rock" and although you could fill pages describing how the band

fused punk and hard rock sensibilities with an artful sense of eclecticism, making girls and boys vibrate together is still what they do best. If you are looking for the most memorable riffs of this year's Sziget, don't miss QOTSA.If you've seen Nicolas Winding Refn's breakthrough film Drive you surely remember the opening song

Nightcall

a slow-burning italo-electro jam, which was covered by bands like

London Grammar. The original song was written by Vincent Belergey, known as Kavinsky. The success of the film (and the single) catapulted him to the highest league of the French electronic scene, which isn't surprising: he makes music so cool and authentically electroclash that you're transported straight back to the 1980s. No wonder he's already toured with Daft Punk.
