ELEVEN TAVASZ 2026

Bartók Béla út once again fills with colourful programmes as Eleven Tavasz returns for another year. One of the season's most diverse cultural festivals, the event brings together family activities, gastronomy programmes, creative workshops, craft sessions, concerts, theatre and literary events, performances, dance shows and themed walks across the neighbourhood. Most programmes can be attended free of charge.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL SCREENINGS

Across Budapest, bars, pubs and sports venues will be screening one of the biggest matches of the year, creating the perfect excuse to gather friends, order a round of drinks and soak up the excitement alongside fellow supporters.

REFORMED MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026

Between 29 and 31 May, Kálvin tér, Bakáts tér, and the surrounding neighbourhood will once again fill with music during the Reformed Music Festival. This year's programme features open-air concerts, an organ marathon, children's activities, and musical devotional events, alongside torchlit psalm-singing processions and classical music performances.

SUMMER KICK-OFF WEEKEND: CITY TAKEOVER PARTIES AT VAJDAHUNYAD CASTLE

On 30-31 May, Erzsébet tér hosts Piacok Napja x Belvárosi Fesztivál, where several of Budapest's most popular community markets - including Hello Piac - come together for a lively weekend market. Visitors can browse design pieces, vintage finds, handmade goods, artisanal treats, and eco-friendly products, while discovering the work of local creators.

BELVÁROS FESTIVAL 2026

Between 29 and 31 May, Belvárosi Fesztivál will once again fill Szabadság tér and Erzsébet tér with concerts, family programmes, and community events. The three-day festival's lineup includes acts such as Fish!, Co Lee, Fran Palermo, Ivan & The Parazol, Analog Balaton, Deva, and ZÓRA, alongside several world music performances.

ÚJBUDA'S BIRTHDAY 2026

On 31 May, Újbuda will celebrate its 21st birthday with a full day of programmes in Bikás Park. The event puts the district's diversity in the spotlight with concerts, family yoga sessions, puppet theatre performances, face painting, giant bubble shows, science experiments, craft workshops, and local history talks throughout the day. Performers include Hahó Együttes, Eszter-lánc, Budapest Jazz Orchestra, and Los Orangutanes.
