FORMULA 1 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 

Formula 1 is back in Hungary this summer, bringing all the high-speed excitement to the Hungaroring once again. The 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix will be a special one – it marks the 40th time the iconic Mogyoród circuit welcomes the world’s fastest drivers. The race weekend follows the usual format: two free practice sessions on Friday, a third on Saturday followed by the all-important qualifying round. The main event – the Grand Prix – takes place on Sunday, 3 August. Whether you're a lifelong F1 fan or just in it for the buzz, it’s always a weekend to remember.

MONOLIT FESTIVAL

A brand-new summer club festival is landing at  Dürer Kert  from  1–3 August , bringing a bold lineup for fans of experimental, genre-blurring heavy music.  Monolit Festival  makes its debut this year, showcasing standout acts from the progressive metal, metalcore, hardcore, industrial, noise, and electronic-tinged scenes.

NIGHT SUP TOUR ON THE DANUBE

On  2 August, SUP Budapest is bringing back one of the summer’s most magical experiences: a night-time paddle boarding tour along the Danube, illuminated by the city lights. The 15-kilometre journey starts at Római-part and ends at Kopaszi-gát, taking participants past iconic buildings and beneath the city’s glowing bridges. Each paddler can light up their board with their own decorative lights, creating a moving stream of colour on the quiet, boat-free river. The peaceful nighttime views and shared experience make this an unforgettable way to see Budapest – and there might even be a party afterwards.

BIRTHDAY BRUNCH AT KICSIZSO

KicsiZso is celebrating its 10th birthday with a full day of food, drinks, and good vibes on 3 August. The morning is all about their beloved brunch (served from 9 am to 2 pm), but from 2 pm to 8 pm, the real party begins. Expect special dishes and drinks, including Neapolitan-style pizzas by Bathó Marci – think margherita and BBQ brisket versions – plus sizzling grill favourites by Prifer Zsolt, from pljeskavica and ribeye steak to Angus smash burgers.
