We've all been waiting for this! Although only the terraces of restaurants, cafés, bistros and pubs may open for the time being, it’s still a huge pleasure after being stuck indoors since March. One of the city’s largest outdoor venues in summer is staging a two-day opening party. According to their Facebook page, the waiters will be serving guests in masks, and hand sanitisers will be dotted around this popular complex on central Erzsébet tér.

Everyone’s favourite boulevard in Buda is also slowly re-opening, one of the first places being Bartók. Expect quality drinks, assorted tapas and a great atmosphere!

Bereg Embassy Bar & Cafe

This hidden little garden behind the Hattyú ház in Buda awaits guests with beer, wine, burgers… in fact, all the usual Bereg classics, in renovated surroundings.
