Irish-Hungarian Business Circle
The Celtic Tiger is alive and well in Budapest thanks to the efforts of the Irish-Hungarian Business Circle, a politically independent organization established in 2005 to develop and facilitate business between Ireland and Hungary. In addition to these commerce-related endeavors, the IHBC coordinates many entertaining events that honor Irish traditions – since 2008, the group arranges Budapest’s St. Patrick’s Festival (including a popular parade open to the public and a gala dinner), as well as informal “First Friday” meetings at various pubs.
