Fans of rock and alternative music have plenty to look forward to this summer, with a packed schedule of international stars heading to Budapest. The season kicks off on 9 June with Papa RoachandTrivium at Budapest Park, followed by A Perfect Circle, who will perform in Hungary for the very first time on 15 June. The following days bring Don Broco to Dürer Kert and The Browning to Analog Music Hall, while rock legends Scorpions celebrate their 60th anniversary with a concert at MVM Dome on 20 June. The momentum continues throughout July, with performances by Rise Against, Starbenders, IDLES, Morrissey, Eric Johnson, Voivod, and BEAT. One of the season's standout events arrives on 20 July, when Sex Pistols, fronted by Frank Carter, take over Budapest Park to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the punk movement, with The Damned opening the evening.

One of the summer's most exciting electronic music weekends is set to take over the iconic Vajdahunyad Castle. Across two consecutive nights, City Takeover brings some of the international scene's most sought-after artists to one of Budapest's most atmospheric open-air venues. On 12 June, Turkish electronic music star Mahmut Orhan arrives with his signature blend of Eastern-inspired melodies, deep grooves, and immersive soundscapes. The following evening, on 13 June, Italian melodic techno duo Mathame takes over, closing the weekend with their futuristic sound and emotionally charged performance. With its historic setting, lakeside views, and world-class line-up, City Takeover promises to be one of the standout open-air events of the season.

Summer adventures with Mercedes-Benz from Budapest to Lake Balaton
Get behind the wheel of the latest Mercedes-Benz models and experience the brand up close this summer. From Budapest to Balatonfüred, a series of events combines test drives with live music, sunset DJ sets, picnic vibes, and exclusive showcases in some of the season's most scenic locations. Programmes on Fashion Street run until 7 June, while from 4 June through the end of the month, the City Park Boating Lake becomes home to a special experience centred around Mercedes-Benz's electric models. Alongside test drives, visitors can enjoy morning yoga sessions, evening DJ performances, and a lakeside display of standout vehicles. The programme continues in Balatonfüred throughout June, where more test-driving opportunities and summer events await.
