On 12 March, a tea sampling event is being held at the Zhao Zhou Teahouse. Tea cultivation on the volcanic Wuyi Mountains goes back more than a thousand years. Around 200 different sub-types of the tea plant Camelia sinensis is farmed there, available for tasting at this event.
