In India a very long time ago, the world was
destroyed by the ocean, with all of its possessions swept away by the waves.
The gods and demons lost everything through their eternal fight, becoming
mortals themselves. Then, they decided to dig down into the ocean, and regain
their lost treasures, including the potion of immortality. Some of them
succeed, while some fail.
An Indian dance play about an old yet still relevant
topic, and a lesson to mortals – before the ocean floods the world again,
taking all of humanity’s treasures.
