The Hungarian National Gallery is putting on a large-scale exhibition of Surrealist art from 27 June. The show is organised in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou in Paris and primarily based on a selection from its collection. Documenting the main trends of Surrealism, along with its central figures, the display features works by Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, Joan Miró, Yves Tanguy, René Magritte, Pablo Picasso and Francis Picabia. Surrealist photography is represented by the works of Man Ray and Brassaï.
