After last year’s successful trial opening of a free public beach at Római Part, organised by local NGOs Valyo and Fák a Rómain, another test run will be held on 27 June, occupying the shore between the Nap Bácsi bar and the Külker Rowing Club. Beach-goers can enjoy rowing on the river, having a picnic and outdoor cooking, as well as a concert later in the day by the young Hungarian musicians of VAHÚR csodát lát.
To make sure that the beach is clean and free from any impurities while people are enjoying the water, a new flag-signalling system has been set up, to be tested on the same day.
