After founding the first trade and state civil school open to the public, in 1884

had a bazaar – that is a building for shops, which links two busy streets and opens onto a courtyard – built in place of some of his buildings in Károly Boulevard.
On 18 April, a range of festive events will take place in the framework of
Budapest100
to celebrate the bazaar under Károly Boulevard 22 / Semmelweis Street 19.
