In August, the New Orleans Swing Festival at Müpa awaits the lovers of the genre with renowned performers. Jazz musician Attila Korb and his international band open the festival with reviving tunes by the legendary bass saxophonist Adrian Rollini. The Coquette Jazz Band, featuring Mátyás Papp and Mátyás Bartha, will play evergreen swing tunes from the ’30s. On the closing day, the big band from the Budapest Jazz Club will share the stage with Gunhild Carling. The Swedish multi-instrumentalist is from Postmodern Jukebox, an acclaimed musical collective who create swing covers of pop songs.
