From 23 to 25 May, the beloved Downtown Festival (Belvárosi Fesztivál) takes over Szabadság tér and Erzsébet tér once again, bringing a vibrant mix of live music, family-friendly activities, and a local design fair — all completely free of charge.

On the main stage at Szabadság tér, visitors can enjoy performances from Hungarian favourites such as Vad Fruttik, KFT, Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Irie Maffia, and Pál Utcai Fiúk. Meanwhile, over at Erzsébet tér, Friday's line-up promises a dose of nostalgia with Rezső Soltész, András Csonka, and more. Saturday will spotlight world music acts, adding international flair to the celebration.

Sunday morning is all about the little ones, with children’s concerts, a puppet theatre, a petting zoo, and plenty of games to keep young festivalgoers entertained.
