Lovers of Hungarian literature and translation are awaited at the first Mudjaroo! of 2020, on 4 February. This time, Owen Good, a Northern Irish translator living in Budapest, will read his translation Ferenc Barnás' novel Másik Halál/Another Death, while Timea Balogh, a Hungarian-American writer and translator, presents her renditions of poems by Kornélia Deres and Seres Lili Hanna. The featured guest this month is the inimitable Ildikó Noémi Nagy, who will read from her translation of Benedek Totth’s novel, Dead Heat (Holtverseny). A short Q&A will follow.
