The Gallery Weekend Budapest (GWB) is a contemporary art festival organized for the sixth time on 7-8 March by the Association of Hungarian Contemporary Art Galleries. Over the course of two days, all kinds of contemporary fine arts are displayed across Budapest: presentations, openings and tours in the most notable galleries.
For those just getting to know contemporary fine arts it is worth having a look at the agenda, since the exhibition spaces are open to the public on Saturday and Sunday between noon and 6pm. The participating artists, gallery owners and their colleagues will be on hand to talk about the exhibited pieces. Admission is free across the board.
