Sascha Ring, better known by his stage name of Apparat, is a German electronic musician performing at Müpa on 11 October. Starting out with dancefloor-oriented techno, he shifted focus towards ambient music, becoming more interested in designing sounds than beats. Apart from his own projects, he collaborates with Modeselektor under the name Moderat.
His latest album came out in the spring of 2019, LP5, with the help of cello player Philipp Thimm, but you will also hear trombone, trumpet, saxophone, harp and double bass on these tracks.
