A masterpiece of 19th-century Romantic ballet, Giselle established a new, unique style, and its popularity is still unabated, with a title role that is every ballerina’s dream. The piece premiered in 1841 and later conquered the world, with music by Adolphe Adam. The opening of the Budapest Spring Festival promises to be truly special: performed by the Győr Ballet, this mystical, beautiful and chilling story now comes to life with the virtuoso violin of Félix Lajkó.

This performance of the Budapest Spring Festival is presented by Müpa Budapest.
