The jubilee 40th Budapest Spring Festival between 3 and 19 April involves many art forms – classical, opera, jazz, world music, dance, contemporary circus, theatre and the visual arts. With the best Hungarian performers and top world stars, the festival is a veritable extravaganza, presenting premieres and co-productions with partner institutions.
Among the scores of venues – Müpa Budapest and the Franz Liszt Music Academy, the Pesti Vigadó and the Várkert Bazár – the Budapest Music Center, Trafó, the Akvárium Klub and other Budapest theatres, cultural institutes and museums will also play host to prestigious performances.
