Hearty feasts and old favourites

Their menu celebrates hearty portions of classic Hungarian dishes, made with fresh ingredients straight from the market, under the guidance of Chef János Keresztúri.

To sample a wider range, try their tasting menus offering smaller servings of delights like Hungarian steak tartare, stuffed cabbage rolls, and rich stews like beef stew, mutton stew, or tripe stew, with your choice of sides. The larger menu also features creamy veal paprika stew or flavourful venison stew, and more side options.

Of course, you can also choose from the main menu. For starters, we recommend the iconic hortobágyi palacsinta (savoury crêpes filled with meat stew), classic steak tartare with toast, and a real favourite, chicken liver pâté with crispy fried onions and pickled cucumbers.

For main courses, don't miss the classic creamy veal paprika stew, rich braised beef in a creamy vegetable sauce with bread dumplings, and traditional pork lung stew. A real rarity is the veal knuckle, which you won't find on many menus. The simple cucumber and tomato salad and homemade pickles offer a traditional, homely taste.

They also offer daily thick vegetable pottages (főzelék – a Hungarian specialty), and to finish, you can choose light sweet cottage cheese dumplings served with sour cream, homemade jam, and icing sugar. Little ones won't go hungry either, with a tasty meat broth and breaded chicken breast with crispy chips on the children's menu.

To accompany your meal, choose from a wide selection of Hungarian wines from renowned producers like Juhász, Dubicz, Bock, and Gere.
