A brand new ice rink has just opened in Budapest, offering one of the city's most breathtaking panoramas! Set against the Royal Palace in Buda Castle, you can skate away with stunning views of the Danube, Chain Bridge, and the Parliament. It’s definitely a bucket-list experience!

Savoy Terrace, a lovely spot just outside the majestic Royal Palace in Buda Castle, has just unveiled Budapest's latest attraction.

A winter wonderland featuring a synthetic ice rink awaits, offering cheerful gliding and live DJ sets (the latter on Fridays and Saturdays), alongside jaw-dropping panoramic views. And let's be honest – skating here, with the Parliament and Chain Bridge in the background, is nothing short of epic.

Open daily from 12 pm to 10 pm throughout December (and into January), you can enjoy the stunning cityscape, vibe to the music, and sip on mulled wine between skating rounds. Tickets are 3500 HUF, and if you don’t have your own skates, no worries – you can rent a pair for 2000 HUF. Plus, keep an eye out for events, like an Alpine-themed party on 13th December!
