Such as atop Gellért Hill, which is already coming to life thanks to the mild weather. Budapest's most famous – and most Instagrammed – almond trees are now in bloom, offering a picture-perfect scenery. We mean pastel pink flowers and the breathtaking views of the Danube and Liberty Bridge combined – just head to the cross above the Cave Church to admire it all.
Fun fact: the beautiful almond trees we enjoy today are the result of careful planting work by the predecessor of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
