The 2023 aftermovie of Central Europe's biggest festival, Sziget, has just been released, letting us relive or have a peek at the carefree buzz of the Island of Freedom. If you are planning to don your flower crown next year, watch out: the early bird sale is kicking off later today.
Budapest's legendary music festival Sziget is returning for the 30th time next summer. While waiting for August to arrive, the organisers treated us to an aftermovie, capturing the best moments of the latest festival. You can walk down memory lane or, if you missed the buzz this year, catch a glimpse of the highlights of the 6 days on the Island of Freedom. The 7-minute video features circus performances, parties, and, of course, the concerts of Billie Eilish, Macklemore, Florence and the Machine, Yungblud, and Lorde.
Sziget will be back between 7-12 August 2024, and if you are planning to be there, you can get your hands on discounted early bird passes in just a couple of hours. The 48-hour sale is available between 26 and 28 October, and all purchases come with a Prime gift package. During this period, you can buy normal 6-day passes for HUF 104,900, VIP passes for HUF 190,900, and 21&Under passes for HUF 81,900.
