Whether you've been to the Budapest Zoo or not, their upcoming Halloween event is not something you'd wanna miss. On 27 October, when the night falls, you can explore another side of the gardens: catch scuba diving at the Shark School, pet snakes, admire fire performances, learn about bats, join a frightening scavenger hunt, or carve pumpkins.

Scrap your plans for the evening of 27 October, as Budapest Zoo's Halloween will surely be the coolest family event in town. After the usual opening hours, a spooky night begins, where both children and their parents will be treated to chilling activities. The bravest can pet creepy crawlers and insects, join snake feedings, touch bones, or set off on a frightening scavenger hunt for gifts. Enchanted creatures will wander in the Fairy Garden, while you can walk a path of candlesticks at Picnic Park. Families can carve pumpkins together, observe animals' nocturnal activities, or uncover the future in the Witch's Swamp. Enjoy light painting and fire performances in several locations, get your face painted, and make something spooky at the crafts workshops.

The best bit is that a ticket to 'Halloween at the Zoo' costs only HUF 300 for children under 14. Children above 14 and adults, however, will have to pay HUF 6,000 to enter. Check the programme and get tickets here.
