This is what the picnic on the reopened Chain Bridge looked like

Budapest's iconic landmark, the Chain Bridge, reopened in style: with a picnic. And here is how it went.

As we reported earlier, the Chain Bridge has recently made a comeback after being fully then partially closed for renovation for two years. The work is now complete, and the bridge, which remains car-free permanently, opened for pedestrians, too. On August 4th, a massive celebration took place in the form of a picnic. Concerts, events, food, drink, city-dwellers, and a cheerful atmosphere took over the bridge. See what it looked like in the photos of We Love Budapest photographer Krisztián Bódis.
