Entering a classic residential block in Pest, one built over a century ago, you may be struck by the stylish staircase you’ll have to climb to reach the flat you’re looking for. Elegant railings, ornate bannisters and tasteful tiling feature throughout, with the odd mosaic thrown in for good measure. Our photographers captured a few beautiful examples.
