Every December, trams in Budapest get dressed up for Christmas, certain routes illuminated on different days. Our star photographer Sándor Csudai took the scenic number 2 along the Danube and captured these wonderfully festive scenes amid urban whizz.
Budapest’s Christmas trams will be running until Epiphany on 6 January, zipping to the distant Buda hills,
far-flung Újpest and remote Pestszentlőrinc, out towards the airport.
