A popular show on national Greek and Cypriot TV, Travel Diary takes Venia Antoniou on journeys of discovery around the world. Their special Christmas edition captures the atmosphere of Budapest’s Advent markets, Magyar flavours and the most beautiful landmarks in the Hungarian capital.
“Impressive bridges, romantic atmosphere and prestigious buildings,” gushes Venia, as she samples mulled wine, goulash soup and Gundel pancakes. Her spa experience has her soaking in warm thermal waters and skipping around the outdoor pool in the freezing cold, though she seems happiest when endlessly gazing over the city’s illuminated bridges.
