A baby zebra has just been born at Budapest Zoo and is already on view to the public. As all zebras do, Zucchero would have been running shortly after being delivered and can be seen in close proximity to his mother, Romy, 13. This former resident of a Dutch safari park is now the proud parent of three foals.
Born only a few days ago, Zucchero is the latest arrival at Budapest Zoo. The last couple of years alone have seen baby elephants, giant anteaters, flamingos and giant otters come into the world alongside City Park.
