Mulled wine, punch and roast chestnuts – these are the very aromas of the sweetest month of December. If you’re finding the festive spirit a little hard to find this year, don’t worry. There’s a Yuletide idyll to discover on the Danube Promenade: Christmas dishes to take away and a pop-up fair, all provided by the InterContinental Budapest.
The spirit of the season will be descending on the downtown Danube Promenade thanks to the InterContinental Budapest. This year, the hotel has put together special Christmas packages. You can choose between five themed offers, each providing a premium solution for all your seasonal needs. Look out for turkey roasts, Christmas and vegetarian packages, festive cakes and New Year’s Eve specials. Everything will only be available for takeaway, making it a safe environment for everyone to experience this magical time of the year together.
These can also be pre-ordered at the magnificent Christmas pop-up fair running from 17-23 December. Here you’ll find mulled wine, roast chestnuts toasted in a Big Green Egg BBQ, traditional Hungarian bejgli cake and a selection of pastries.

that make this festive event particularly special. in addition to lichen
paintings and other gorgeous adornments, Christmas ornaments made by the little
residents of the world-famous Pető Institute will also be on sale.
